A one-hour course offers one CE Credit. Choose courses relevant to your business and your insurance license. Do not wait until the last minute to earn your required CE Credits. You cannot repeat a course within two years; you can earn CE Credit only once for each course during your license renewal period.

What is the difference between contact hours and CEUs?
One contact hour is equal to 50-60 minutes of actual clock time spent in a board-approved course or activity in the classroom with an instructor. One continuing education unit (ceu) or credit is equal to 10 contact hours; meaning it requires 10 clock hours to complete.

Why are paramedics paid so little?
There are other reasons EMS pay is so low. Certification is minimal — it only takes 120 to 150 hours of training to become an EMT (paramedics require significantly more).
