We have public First Aid courses in Auckland, Northland and Canterbury. This course is advanced training for people holding a current first aid certificate who wish to advance their knowledge and skills to a higher qualification for their work, e.g. outdoor instructors, surf lifesavers, ski patrollers and LandSAR members.

Is there a 2 day outdoor first aid course?

2 Day Outdoor First Aid; Is a practical, hands-on, scenario-based course. It equips participants with the skills and confidence to manage an emergency where medical help and assistance may be several hours away. This course satisfies standard Health and Safety Workplace requirements as well as outdoor leadership requirements NZIOA.

How long is one on one first aid training?

The one-on-one practical training session will be one hour and together with the online learning component will meet the 12 hour time requirement for unit standard based workplace first aid training. Revalidation training also comprises online and practical training with a half hour practical training session.

When does the workplace first aider course start?

Traditional course made up of self-directed learning worksheets (completed in the learner’s own time) + a full day or half day (depending on course type) training session. The Workplace First Aider session starts at 8:15am and ends at 5pm; the Revalidation First Aid session starts at 8:15am and ends at 12:45pm.
