Ingredients

  1. 5-10 Thai chilies, or to taste.
  2. 5 cloves garlic.
  3. 1 spur chilies or another mild, red pepper, chopped.
  4. ½ cup long beans, cut into short pieces.
  5. ½ small onion, diced.
  6. 300g chicken, coarsely ground (see video for how to grind your own chicken)
  7. 1 Tbsp oyster sauce.
  8. 1 Tbsp soy sauce.

Process

  1. Wash the holy basil leaves well and then place in the cup. With the back of a spoon, press the leaves against the side of the cup.
  2. Pour hot (not boiling) water over the leaves and stir. Place the saucer on top of the cup, right side up.
  3. Place a few ice cubes on the saucer.
  4. Wait about 5 minutes.
  5. Drink warm.
