In England, since 1994, the programme has been operated by Keep Britain Tidy… and Eco-Schools Programme Delivery Officer Karyn Fullerton has worked on it ever since! In this time, over 20,000 schools, colleges and nurseries have registered with Eco-Schools England and more are registering every day!

Purchasing a Green Flag or pennant is a two-step process:

  1. Complete the form in our shop with your request to purchase a flag or pennant.
  2. Following approval by Green-Schools you will be sent a link via email to complete your purchase.

Is there a fee to get the green flag?

There is no additional fee for schools who choose to apply for the Eco-Schools Green Flag with Merit or Distinction.
