What is the difference between magpul Gen 1 and 2?
gen2 is lower profile when folded. Front sight design, Gen 1 has a pin you have to put in place once you zero. Gen 2 has detent like many other sights. Hands down i would recommend gen 2 if you could even find a gen 1 set new.

There’s mold marks on EVERYTHING. It barely even fits on the rail. it took me a good 5 minutes to get it on because its actually smaller than the 1913 picatinny rail. Pretty dissapointed and will be returning. Magpul – Simply the best!
