Do repeated classes show up on transcript?
When you repeat a class, the original class still shows on your transcript with the grade that you received. It does not count in your GPA. The grade for the latest taking of the class is what will be counted into your GPA, even if it is lower than the previous attempt at the class.

A W on a transcript looks MUCH better than an F. If worse gets to worst though, and you do get an F, you can always retake the course and get a better grade. Our school has a policy that if you get an F, retake the course, the F is completely replaced with the new grade.
What happens if you get an F?
If you get an “F,” or fail a course that is required for your field of study, you will have to repeat the course. You need to check with your adviser on how soon you need to retake the class. If the course was not a required course, you can choose to let the grade stand, but it will continue to affect your GPA.
