- STEP 1: Go to www.imvu.com, and then click Get Started for Free located at the lower right side of the page.
- STEP 2: First, select your gender.
- STEP 3: Next, customize your avatar by choosing the skintone, head, hair, and eyes.
What qualifications do you need for Modelling?
The British Association of Model Agents (AMA) explains that a female model’s height should reach between 5’8” and 5’11” with a 6-8 dress size and a 34″-24″-34″ bust, waist and hip measurement. Anything above this is classed as plus-size.
What do you need to get an IMVU account?
In the application, we will ask you for your avatar name, an email address for verification and more official communications, and a photo from your IMVU Feed that best represents your unique style as well as your avatar DNA (outfit). As we review your application, we will be checking to make sure that your account is in good standing.
Can you change your avatar name on IMVU?
IMVU wants your avatar to still look like “you” but will behave as a model and change outfits and hair as necessary. IMVU will not change your stated required items. IMVU will only release/credit your avatar name.
What happens if you post something on IMVU?
You may still post AP items and content on your personal feeds as long as it is within the Community Guidelines. Failure to do so will result in immediate and irrevocable termination of your position in the program. IMVU will do their best to maintain the integrity of your avatar and identity when posting.
